We moved from AZ back to Southern California and Pearson dis our move. Miguel and Jae were on both ends of the move, including driving the trucks. All of the young men involved were friendly and polite. We have moved 9 times in 30 years and this was one of the better experiences. Thanks also to Nate who did a great job on the sales side and was a good point of contact before our move.

On both ends of the move, the men did a great job. Nate was very helpful initiallyand then Nicolas, Joshua and Robert.in Scottsdale..and then Robert, Matthew and Felipe in SLO.. Everyone was very polite, friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. I will definitely recommend your company in the future.

Miguel, Brock, Jae were very kind and did help. I’m leaving this review after my conversation with Austin the new owner. He seemed to be genuinely concerned why my experience wasn’t great overall. But when I was speaking to him it was very clear it was really all about protecting the company. I had used Pearson before and had good experience with them. This conversation was informative and in agreeable that this was mostly miscommunication from Pearson. They didn’t inform me that day I could call the office or anyone if there were issues. So much stuff was left behind and I had to use an additional truck to get it all myself after spending everything on them. They didn’t clearly communicate extra costs of tv boxes needed to transport tvs until they arrived the day of the move. even after doing a walkthrough before. I asked about the drive time but it apparently includes the trip back to the office after the move is over. When asked Austin he said that they stated it was trip and travel which is easily understood by a third grader. Very insulting. Even referring to it he kept saying round trip and just trip and travel. If there was better communication before hand I would have gone with a different company.

Lots of little boxes and things that I can't imagine would not fit fine on the truck... Enough that we have to rent a moving truck or make a few car trips anyway...The tvs and mattress bags had an extra fee to move that was not advertised... Charged for 2 hours of drive time even though only less than 1 was used...They really pushed for good reviews on here so be aware some may not be as genuine...Overall hindsight is 20/20.Update 2: they called to try and get me to change my review... I really wouldn't recommend this company... Choose another...

If I could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT EVER USE THEM FOR YOUR MOVE!!!!The quote was wildly under estimated and even once the walk through was done they noted this and gave us a new quote. Which STILL was wildly under estimated. It pushed our moving out to two days which meant two days I hardly got to see my children while babysitting a moving crew that only did half their job. And over these two days moved a large amount of stuff ourselves.The first day they loaded two trucks and were confident they could get the rest the next day in 4 hours with two people. I asked if they wanted to come do another walk through and ensure this was the case. They said nope they’re confident. I requested a third person. They showed up the next day and immediately said they don’t think it will fit and it did not!!They left moving trash in the old house that I had to go back and clean up before it could be sold.We did a final walk through at the new place and there were numerous boxes in the wrong rooms and garage. But it was so many that I wasn’t able to continue paying them to fix it as it was already so far over cost. This has in turn made our moving in so difficult and continued to add stress to our unpacking.They also lost pieces of the furniture they took apart, including screws to a baby crib that now is non functionalI would never advise anyone to use this company and would never in the future. It was made an already stressful situation much more stressful.I tried to reach out via email before writing reviews and got no response.

Being a first timer using a moving company, I was hesitant using a moving service. Pearson Moving and Storage went above and beyond in handling our belongings. Every bit of furniture was wrapped and handled with care. When it came time to a bed frame they had unexpectedly disassemble, they did it in a timely fashion. The pricing was better than every where else we had shopped, but I will be a returning customer due to the communication and customer service.

Had this all nice and planned. Arrived at into and found my lock damaged. They had called me 7 minutes prior me checking the lock. I immediately called the drivers and told them to hold off on coming. They said they would call their manager and call me back. They called me back and said their manager told me to “buy bolt cutters” so they could “get into the unit”. I was astounded! I tried and tried and tired to call the office. No answer. The boys in the phone must not have been older than 18 as they had the mouths of one. They said they would have the operations manager call me. Never happened. I finally reached spoken at the office and they claim their staff don’t lie and I am the liar. His staff would “never say anything like this”.The office said the dash cam showed th at my location. There were never here as I have been waiting for an hour.SCARY!!! Would NEVER trust them with my itemsThe response from the owner says it all. They have had multiple complaints with the BBB and they are still in business. WHY???

The movers were very professional they made sure everything was wrapped up and protected. They were very careful with everything. Most of all they’re very quick they filled my storage so that I had more room to put stuff in it very good placement. They were early and on time. It was well worth the quote and the price. I would highly recommend. Pearson moving to anyone that needs to move any personal belongings from one place to another. This had to be the best experience I’ve ever had with movers. They were very highly recommended by family and a friends

I had one large expensive antique I needed moved. Reese and Shawn were the movers and they went above and beyond to protect the the antique piece and move it carefully without damage. Booking the appointment was very easy and convenient and the price at the end was exactly the price they quoted me ahead of time which was much less expensive then other quotes I received. Highly recommend Pearson Moving!!

Working with Pearson Moving was stress free from start to finish and made my decision to work with a local company for a cross-country move a smart one! From the estimating process with Brian and Logan to the packing and loading with Douglas, Brock and Josh, it made a usual stressful process relatively stress-free. The actuals from the estimate were under-run as Douglas, Brock and Josh worked efficiently to pack and load my house over two (2) days. I would highly recommend Pearson Moving for your upcoming move!Update: After delivery of my household goods, I am changing my rating to 1 star. I have moved cross-country three times previously without significant issues but strongly do not recommend Pearson for long-distance moves. And, buy the extra insurance because their packing and handling is negligent. Otherwise, their insurance offer will be pennies on the dollar for replacement value.I had questioned the quality of packing with Logan but he assured me his “best team” was assigned to my move. You know it’s a bad sign when the driver opens the door to the truck and there is broken glass on the floor. As each piece was carried off the truck, the driver kept saying, “Sorry, boss.” Just about every piece of furniture was damaged upon delivery due to dragging, getting wet as the truck had a leak per the driver or negligent packing/handling. Any picture frame larger than a tabletop was broken or damage. Mirrors and lamps were packed without protection in a box with a vacuum cleaner and tools. Lamps were packed in a plant pot and lamp shades were loosely packed on top of everything in the truck. I posted a few pictures here but have over 100 more.
